2014/2015 program was sponsored by I3S, INRIA and the following project teams from INRIA Sophia Antipolis Méditerranée: ABS (Algorithms Biology Structure), Ariana (Earth observation and cartography, image processing) Asclepios (Medical Image Analysis, Biological Image Analysis, Computational Anatomy, Computational Physiology), Comore (Modelling and control of renewable resources), NeuroMathComp (Mathematical and Computational Neuroscience), Athena (Computational Brain Anatomical and Functional Imaging).

Morgane Demeocq completed two years of specialization in Biology, Computer Science and Mathematics, and a 3rd year at the Ecole Polytechnique University of Nice in applied mathematics and modeling. To refocus herself in her first orientation, bioinformatics, she did a first year Masters in biology specialty Biology, Computer Science and Mathematics and made an internship of 5 month at the Institute Sophia Antipolis in the team "interaction plantes-nematodes". During this internship, she made genomic's annotation for the detection of transposed elements. Wanting to develop herself in modeling, including neuronal, she entered the CBB master.
Nathalie Gayraud s French and Greek. She studied Computer Science in the Computer Science department of the University of Ioannina, Greece, where she obtained a Bachelor Degree, and later a Master Degree in Technologies - Applications. During her studies, she obtained honorary scholarships from the State Scholarship Founation, and later, from the Academy of Athens. As part of her Bachelor Thesis, she studied and implemented Routing and Wavelength Assignment algorithms. She has done research on diffusion in social networks, where she explored the Influence Maximization problem in Evolving Social Networks. She focused on Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence during her Master. Her Master Thesis was on Heart Rate Variability, focusing on feature extraction from ECG signals.
Konstantinos Mavreas has graduated from the Department of Statistics and Insurance science at University of Piraeus, with a grade of 7.3/10. During his studies, he had courses related with statistical and financial analysis, such as the demographic «SHARE» project and the «Statistics of Justice - Study of Crimes Against Life». He worked as an insurance consultant at Groupama in Greece. He is very interested to expand his knowledge in the area of applied mathematics in the field of biology. He spends most of his spare time reading literature books and socializing.
